Both sides built up massive armies of allied beasts and monsters to fight each other. In the end the Guilds won, banishing the Druids to the Deep, incorporating half the Rangers into the Guilds, and driving the Order of Shifters extinct.
Shadar-Kai on the Southern tip of Norstir find Necrotok, the City of Heaven of Nerull, and attempt to establish the Undying Empire. The Black Robed Mages turn to assist them, causing civil war in the City of Five Towers. By the end of the war they were able to bring an end to the Undying Emperor and force a mass exodus of the Shadar-Kai.
Malcor is beaten in battle by the Artificer and Fistandolich. Falls back to Armea, broken and dying; Auralian Covie finds and saves Malcor.
