Continent of Argentii
Once a single large landmass (mostly), the great dragon warlords left it in a tattered ruin of islands once their ceaseless wars brought about their own downfall and caused the oceans to rise. The remaining peoples banded together into a trade-based economy under Tige the Uniter and his queen, Talla of Shade until The Division.
Geography
In ancient times, Argentii was a single, large continent. After the end of The Last Continental War, what remained above the water tended to be hills or mountains with valleys sheltered from the sea. There are several relatively flat islands that used to be plateaus before the waters rose. Mining, agricultural terracing, and other people-driven change have given many islands a flatter topography over the generations. Some islands, such as Shade, have eschewed this in favor of using engineering and tenacity to defy nature's tempramental storms, and every island has parks and preserves that remain untouched from their nature-swept forms.
All of the islands are inhabited, and many have developed and maintain their own unique cultures and traditions though clusters of small, closely grouped islands and atolls often share a culture and governmental structure. A good rule of thumb is that if islands are close enough to view each other on the horizon, then they are close enough to have long family and cultural ties.
Climate
Argentii is north of the equator, and stretches from cool-temperate in the north, to tropical in the south.
Both elevation and oceanic currents have a great effect on each island's individual climate cycle. Temprate islands may experience a familiar four-season cycle, while many close to the equator experience a two-season cycle: hot and wet, or hot and dry. Several islands have elevations that lend them to snow throughout much of the year.
Natural Resources
Resources differ from island to island, which is what makes trade so vital.
Tourism
Tourism and trade are vital among the islands, where small landmasses are simply unable to provide everything for everyone. Many islands specialize in a small number of local products or services that cannot be found elsewhere. For instance, Glass Island does one thing, and one thing only: it produces 100% of the glass that is used for any sort of enchanted item, from window panes to the glass powder that carries pigments in glaze on fine china.
Because of this dependency, racism isn't a thing. It just isn't. People look all sorts of ways, and after tens of thousands of years of history, that's just accepted. The geography of the world makes it difficult for any group to isolate itself for more than a generation or two, at most.

The recognized islands of Argentii cover an area roughly the same as the contiguous United States. The islands cover an area about 2,800 miles east-to-west and 1,500 miles north-to-south.Maps
