Craed Beleth
Considered the second greatest city in the West Orckid Empire, Craed Beleth is the ancestral home of the ancient Viisianari and the erstwhile capital of the Old Orckid Empire. Sitting in the middle of the Maran Hills and far from any reliable water source, Craed Beleth thrives today primarily due to its historic value. Thousands of people visit the city every year, both to admire the beauty of the fallen Old Orckid Empire and to celebrate the victory of the New Orckid Empire. These pilgrims are not only West Orckid citizens, but also Viisi pilgrims and occasional wayfarers and wealthy merchants on their way to or from Tauriconia.
Craed Beleth is an important religious center in West Orckid, and though the empire is not as pious as other nations, this still lends the city significant clout.
