The third known King of Revellia, second of Clan Bastion. Practically nothing is known of Corris Bastion. History remembers him as "the Cat," likely for the grimling in his family sigil. He is often confused with his nephew Corrik the Coward, purely for their similar names. Corris' reign lasted less than three years, and was spent entirely at war with his siblings. How many factions fought, who supported which side, all is unknown. We know only that Ashlyn the Tall died during the war, and it is believed the loss of her military acumen led directly to Corris' death in the third Battle of Fiirwood. His brother Dorre was fighting nearby and immediately took up the crown. More than one wizard has japed that Corris' most important contribution to civilization was dying. The Bastion Wars, and especially the death of the so-called rightful king, led many in Revellia to finally question the divine right of monarchs. This supposedly precipitated the rise of Clan Ainros in the near future.
