Swift Family
The Swift family has always liked working with their hands. Originally, they started in a trade guild hall which evolved into a construction company. That ran for 3 generations doing masonry and bricklaying, then spreading out to carpentry and tilework. Then they faced a disaster, Ronald Swift had to file for bankruptcy after an inspection because it was discovered that substandard material was being used at various building sites.
Needless to say, they almost went out of business, their name is tarnished in the construction world, and he went to jail. His son, Jason, liquidated the business and went to work for Brightstone Industries with his cousin Dieter Brightstone. He started at the bottom to learn engineering, electronics, and whatever else an inventor would need.
After years of training, and hands-on knowledge, he started his own technology company with backing from his cousin. He named it Swift Enterprises, they are a research and development company and collaborate with Brightstone Industries when needed.
Jason Swift's firstborn son is Tom Swift, and he had 3 sons and two daughters, The first two sons are twins, and the 3rd boy and the first girl are twins and two girl twins. Twins and triplets are common in the Swift family, it is more uncommon for them to be single births. The Swifts have a large extended family and many of their employees are related. Most of them are hard-working, honest people, and only a few are greedy and dishonest.
