Isol Tempesta
Isol Tempesta is an island off the west coast of Zirdy. It is covered in mountains and cliffs and rains 2/3 of the year. Storms regularly rage for days here. The city itself consists mostly of stone towers built into the sides of mountains. Food is grown indoors, under globes of Daylight, using collected water from the rain.
The elves that call this island home are known as Foudregens, and they will get pissed if you call them Zirdian. The island and its people have their own identity that they keep separate from Zirdy. The people here are tough, and often seafarers. Skyball is a huge sport for them and their team, the Tempesta Zappers is one of the best in the world and usually wins the elven championship.

History
Once the proud Isol Tempeste was its own small elven kingdom. In the days of the Elven monarchy Isol Tempeste and Zirdy went to war a couple of times, each time the small island nation drove off invaders. When the dwarves arrived in the first dwarven holy war they successfully took the island. When the first dwarven empire fell the Kings of Tempeste joined Zirdy formally and gains their status as a Noble and Most Ancient House.
