Fort Tridente

Fort Tridente is a darker form of Zirdy, Its highest palace breaches the waves allowing for overwater access with a small island. The docks there specialize in ship repair because sea elves can get under the boat easily without the need of drydocking. They also use magic to make the wood water resistant and last longer. This city is Ruled by the Noble House of Coquillete who operate the castle, naval base, and the Elven Sea Rangers. The city is beyond the reach of most Zirdian authorities and serves as an undercity to Zird'Lyrind, only half a day's swim, or an hour's sail. Several notable criminal organizations make their homes here.

Demographics

The city is made up almost entirely of Sea elves, with a few merfolk, tritons, and komodos mixed in. There is almost no slavery  here of underwater races, who freely enter the city. What few slaves there are, are surface folk who live in waterproof areas in their master's homes.

Guilds and Factions

Gambino Crime Syndicate. The largest Underwater criminal organization in the world, comprised largely of Sea Elves. They are involved in trafficking, gambling, and the slave trade. The Zirdian authorities aren't well equipped to stop them and the Coquille family seems to always be a step behind.
Pyke Syndicate. Involved heavily in the drug trade, there is no direct conflict between them and the Gambinos but there is silent wrestling for power. Compromised largely of Merfolk and Komodos.
Krakenpearl Bank. They are a Loansharking and Mercenary business. They hold a massive vault at the bottom of an ocean trench, guarded by magic and monsters of the deep. They are a corporation run by an elite crew of 5 unknown mob bosses, known as "The Kracken".
