Kíathandí
Structure
The King is in charge of the whole kingdom. Before Tasa, the monarch ruled with the aid of a council of seven lords and seven guild leaders. The monarch would also hold sessions with guild leaders to hear the plights of the workers, not just the army and the large cities.
Public Agenda
With Tasa as king, he aims to turn Kíathandí into an empire, conquering the neighbouring kingdoms of Gaenel and Dagdír. This is unpopular with the people.
Assets
Tasa has the entire kingdom at his disposal, filled with farmland, powerful cities, an impressive army and the continent's biggest navy. He has control of half of the wild dragon population which he uses as his slaves.
History
Kíathandí was founded over 300 years ago by the freed slaves of Gaenel. They chose Grateor as their first king and his bloodline has ruled ever since until Tasa took control.
Demography and Population
The population is approximately 14,471,600. The majority are native Kíans. There is a sizeable number of people from Dagdír. The majority are poor farmers living in villages and hamlets criss-crossing the countryside. The well educated live in cities.
Territories
Kíathandí encomapsses the islands to the East of the mainland except @Ynrae. The land was previously only occupied by fire dragons.
Foreign Relations
Dagdír and Kíathandí have historically been close allies and have strong trade between the two kingdoms. However, in the years since Tasa's rise to power and the civil war, relations have broken down between the two ingdoms although trade still continues.
Kíathandí and Gaenel have no formal agreements except the The Treaty of Saesla but are not at war.
