Demographics

Almost all citizens of Gerend are Kíans. Only a few are from Dagdír. The majority are farmers. However, there are many merchants in Gerens offering many goods and services.

Government

Gerend is run by the Lord of Ardenka who lives there. He answers to the Baron of Sabarva. His taxes lie on the upper limit of affordable for most people.   The guards and soldiers in Gerend are in charge of upholding the King's laws and are usually too harsh and unfair.

Once a year before summer, a trade caravan always stops at Gerens, bringing new wares for sale. Otherwise, very little outside trade goes on, limited to the residents of the Ardenka Basin basin.
