Draegaire

Draegaire is a member of the Adair culture. As a baby, during the infancy ritual, they chose the item associated with the deity Leigh-Lann. Leigh-Lann is associated with medicine and healing and is a patron of medics and healers. This led to Draegaire growing to serve their commune by learning medicine and helping with the military. They started with schooling up until the age of 13 when they entered an apprenticeship under Ailsa a very skilled medic. While serving under Ailsa, Draegaire was somewhat bored with medicine. They were a good apprentice and student, who listened, studied, and practiced, but wished for more creativity and experimentation within the practice. When serving as a full medic they got to meet more people, learn about their adventures, challenges, personal lives, and most importantly help them. After serving as a full medic for seven years, (making them 22 at this time), they were injured during a raid while on the field trying to help their comrade and best friend, Saoirse, who was injured on the battlefield. Due to the permanently limited function of their left leg due to the injuries that were inflicted, they were discharged early and took up the hobby of writing, learning about other people’s lives, cultures, hobbies, and daily life. Draegaire is a rather, ordinary person who likes to stay in the shadows, learning about similar, ordinary people. They began to write about people and their lives, and share these ordinary people’s stories but delivered in fascinating ways that made ordinary feel exciting. These days, Draegaire is traveling through the region to collect stories and experiences.
