Ghri
Ghri is the Sun God in Adair culture. Ghri, like all of Adarians, is agender. Ghri is the second child of the sky, the first being Talamh, the Deity of earth and harvest and patrol of alchemists, then came Murtair, the deity of the night, moon, and stealth and patron of spies and assassins. Talamh, Ghri, and Murtair were the first three, they were the triplets. In Adair culture, the number 3 is highly valued, as well as 6 which is the total number of gods within Adair culture. Talamh, Ghri, and Murtair work together to balance the planet, they create seasons, plants, day, and night, these three work together to create balance for the world.
Ghri is the embodiment of the sun, and its energy, and it is a life-giving source. They are seen as a bringers of light and illuminate each day, their presence is felt in the warmth of the sun’s rays, the vibrancy of daylight, and the rhythm of seasons. Ghri often stands as a symbol of enlightenment.
In terms of their personality in Adarian lore or mythology Ghri is a kindhearted deity who looks to help all those that walk the earth to thrive. Ghri is a forgiving deity who is known for helping those who went through harsh winters or made mistakes regrow themselves for spring and become better people.
Ghri is a patron of many things, such as blacksmiths and bladesmiths, leadership, and rulers, and a lesser patron of agriculture and farming assisting their sibling, Talamh.
