Owen Hubbard

Owen grew up in Trellech, where his father ran a shop. He enlisted to serve in the Great War early, and met Clara after an injury that sent him to the Temple of Healing for treatment in 1915. They married in 1916, and he did not return to Trellech after that until he was demobbed in the summer of 1920.   Owen apprenticed as a shoemaker, but he takes up a position in a different sort of field during Shoemaker's Wife.
