Exedilica
Exedilica is a continent in the southern hemisphere of Ailar. Its dominant feature is an active volcanic mountain system in the center of the land mass. It is home to the Holy Illuminated Exeter Empire.

Geography
Exedilica is a continent in Ailar's Southern Ocean. Its total landmass is close to 1.2 million square miles, making it one of the larger continents to survive The Devastation intact. Prior to The Devastation, Exedilica was mostly flat and covered in dry deserts and scrub plains. During The Devastation, a series of volcanoes erupted on the center of the continent. At the same time, earthquakes and tidal waves wracked the coastal regions. While these disasters devastated the local population, the rich volcanic soil mixed with underground waters exposed by the earthquakes transformed the continent into a fertile bed of growth.
In its current form, the central regions of Exedilica are dominated by mountain ranges containing several active volcanoes. The northern regions are fertile and temperate, and are mostly covered with thick grasses and sparse trees. A few large forests and marshlands exist in the southeastern reaches of the continent. A large desert dominates the southwest. The northern and eastern coasts are largely sandy beaches and shallow bays, while the southern and western coasts consist mainly of rocky beaches and cliffs.
