The Lindphel Family
The Lindphel Family is the ancient and revered royal bloodline of Amoxis, bearing the title of Sovereign Protectors since before The Fracture War. Known for their iron sense of duty and moral conviction, they lack the divine blessings or magical prowess Common in other noble houses — yet they are respected across the continent for their unmatched discipline, loyalty, and military sacrifice.
During the Fracture War, the Lindphel family led one of the largest mortal knightly hosts aligned with the Aether Alliance, sacrificing thousands to protect civilians, hold lines, and give magic-wielders room to turn the tide. While they were never gods, mages, or archons, the bravery of their knights prevented The Mages of Madness and The Revelry of Ruin from sweeping deeper into the heartlands of Amoxis.
Their honor, however, came at a cost. Lindphel forces sustained the heaviest non-magical casualties of the entire war. Whole branches of the family were wiped out, and their estate remains somber in its victory. In the war’s wake, whispers now speak of a splinter faction within the Lindphel family seeking to align with the Revelry, tempted by promises of power they were denied before.
