The Mages of Madness were the ones that broke the aether accord alongside Vazhal, The Thoughtless. They believe magic is naturally chaotic and the gods are the true problem of the world, a deceit by Vazhal which caused the wizards minds to seep further away from reality. This has left many of it's members cursed or even dead. Nowadays the group experiments with magic to try to by pass the four dragon gods seeking to bring chaos once again to the world and continue The Fracture War.
