Wilfer Lindphel
Wilfer Lindphel, High Regent of Amoxis and the patriarch of the Lindphel line, is a stalwart, grim-faced man in his late sixties. His once-golden hair has dulled to silver, and his eyes reflect years of grief and command. Known by his titles “The Lion Without Fire” and “The Sword’s Heart,” Wilfer is a master tactician, trained in every form of martial discipline but untouched by magic.
A veteran of The Fracture War, Wilfer led the largest evacuation initiative during the Siege of Myrrhold, personally carrying wounded soldiers off the battlefield when medics failed. His sword, Tearweld, is said to have never left its sheath unless it was to defend the innocent.
He is deeply distrustful of magic and divine claims of superiority — though he respects the gods, he believes too many mortals lean on them like crutches. Despite this, Wilfer has always honored the divine alliances and upholds his family's oaths with stoic pride.
In recent years, Wilfer’s inflexibility and grief have distanced him from parts of his court. The whispers of betrayal among younger Lindphel bloodlines trouble him deeply, but he refuses to allow civil war to split his house. Those who know him well say he’s waiting for one final test — one last chance to prove that honor and steel can still shape the world without need for flame or fate.
