Halinkazian
Halinkazian1 refers to related language families spoken by the Halinkazíans in the Darka Mountains in northern Adynía and -to much lesser extent- the Sikíron Empire south of the mountains, of which East-Eraric is most widespread and official language of the kingdom of Halinkazía.
All these languages evolved from the dialects spoken by the dwarven tribes who settled in the mountains millennia ago, and in turn, almost all languages of the dwarves -aside from those used by the Dúnaraz-dwarves and Gartaraz-dwarves in the eastern Sjorgús Mountains- evolved from an early form of halinkazian via Zameltonian.

Writing System
Several different alphabets are used by halinkazíans in the Darka Mountains, with the east-eraric one being used by the royal court and for most administrative purposes, all of which feature letters made entirely with straight lines and dots to make carving them into stone, bone and metals easier. Outside Halinkazía, Sikíronian script is sometimes used as well.
