Founding and Early Years

Established in Corvalon by a group of visionary engineers, Trebuchet Weapons Design quickly gained recognition for its high-quality firearms. The company initially focused on producing rifles and pistols that combined advanced engineering with user-friendly features, catering to both military personnel and civilians.

Roshal Maivren's Era

Roshal Maivren joined Trebuchet Weapons Design in the early 1920s, bringing with him a wealth of expertise and a passion for innovation. His contributions significantly advanced the company's product line, leading to a series of groundbreaking designs. Maivren's ascent to CEO before the onset of the Twelve Years War marked a transformative period for Trebuchet. Under his leadership, the company played a pivotal role in equipping the Nydonian military with cutting-edge weaponry, including the iconic Maivren M-43 assault rifle and the R-50 heavy machine gun.
During the Twelve Years War (1943-1955), Trebuchet Weapons Design was instrumental in supporting Nydonia's armed forces. The company's commitment to excellence and innovation ensured that Nydonian soldiers were equipped with some of the most advanced and reliable firearms of the era. Maivren's designs, characterized by their durability and effectiveness, became synonymous with Nydonia's military prowess.
Following the war, Trebuchet Weapons Design continued to thrive, expanding its research and development efforts to include advanced materials and modern manufacturing techniques. The company diversified its product line to serve both military and civilian markets, maintaining its reputation for quality and reliability.

Today, Trebuchet Weapons Design remains a leader in firearm manufacturing, supplying the Nydonian government and civilians with an extensive range of products. The company's commitment to innovation and excellence is reflected in its state-of-the-art production facilities and continuous investment in research and development. Trebuchet's legacy is also preserved through its partnerships with institutions like the Roshal Maivren Institute, fostering the next generation of firearm engineers and designers.
In addition to its commercial success, Trebuchet Weapons Design is dedicated to promoting responsible firearm use and safety. The company engages in community outreach and education programs, ensuring that its products are used safely and ethically, though the sales never stop.
Trebuchet Weapons Design stands as a beacon of innovation and reliability in the firearm industry. With a rich history shaped by pioneers like Roshal Maivren and a steadfast commitment to excellence, Trebuchet continues to lead the way in firearm design and manufacturing, honoring its past while shaping the future of weaponry in Nydonia and beyond.

History

As Azarga grew more powerful and began buying up companies throughout the Twelve Years War, Trebuchet Weapons Design was one of many to be offered a deal they couldn't refuse. Unlike almost every other company, Trebuchet refused, Roshal Maivren refusing to let the business he had put so much of his life into become just another corporate slave, subservient to the will of the shareholders as he saw it. He held out until the very end, but sadly, against his last wishes, Azarga did end up buying Trebuchet less than a year after Roshal's death in 1971.
