Thundermaw, the Defiant

"The storm's roars of night are not always from the storm itself. A soaring hellkite rides the currents, making the work done by Stitchers all the worse. When they fall from their airships, the strike of water doesn't kill them, neither the strike of a bolt of astray lightning, no. It is the strike of Thundermaw,"
- Zenko, Dracologist
Scyllia's known for it's mighty storm that plagues the southern coasts of the region, a place contested for it's Hundred-Year Lightning by many different factions. Although, there's one force that can bring Necromancers and Stitchers together, along with even The Spirit Hunters in some cases, is Thundermaw. A blue adult dragon, known for being an outlier from typical blue dragons, both in personality and appearance. Even with his immunity to lightning, the magical storm has tempered with his hardened scales across the decades, eventually cultivating with the scarring and flaking of his scales. Regeneration was a desire he sought for decades, soon finding it but with the tragic turn that his flesh beneath the scales will become just as defensive as his previous blue scales were. Alas, the flesh made Thundermaw appear as a red dragon, despite still having the physical features found with a blue dragon, being his singular horn and flat tail.
Thundermaw is angry, even in the concepts of all chromatic dragons having vengeance and anger fuel them. He id especially ferocious over what had happened to his body, the envy he has over other dragons who are able to show their true colours, quite literally, is boundless. Whenever he isn't within the storm, he is off trying to kill as many dragons as he can. Although, due to the ferocity of the region he calls his domain, there are very few dragons who desire to come close, both due to Thundermaw and the Hundred-Year Storm. It makes it so that Thundermaw's main source of both food and sport are the many guilds that are all trying to take control over the Storm. Thundermaw is a common threat to them all, and he revels in that thought. Despite having been covered in scars, now forming in his red skin, none of them were caused by any of his opponents. This is a secret only him and his only ally, a satyr by the name of Fennec, who lives on the isolated tower within the eye of the storm.
Thundermaw's overexposure to the storm has led to others getting the same afflictions he has. Fennec in particular. A title assumed by the Scarred Wyrm is the title of the Undeserved Herald of Storms. Thundermaw, of course, despises this title. The way he sees it, he's been within the storm for decades, and to be treated as a mere tourist to the cascade, along with the disrespectful action of being associated with a red dragon, the people that wrongfully assume him are deserving of their deaths. Of all the dragons, there is one that Thundermaw has wished to kill for a long, long time. Vorbile, the Desecrator , the dragon that had barred him from associating with the Dragon City of the Skies, stopping him from being able to possibly assume Malus' throne as the strongest of all dragons.

"ah! Not to worry, students! As we are under the water, this red dragon cannot harm us! As, red dragons breath-"

- Sahuagin Professor, last words.

Fennec, the Dragonrider

A satyr who was guildless, had once come to Thundermaw in the wake of his depression. He had no goals, no family, and no home. As an outcast, he thought the storm, or one of the many guilds, would take him, and give him purpose in an afterlife. Fennec, however, was met with Thundermaw. A red dragon in his eyes, but understood his scars, and declared him as a stronger blue dragon than any other, as he had the element of surprise. Fennec bestowed himself to befriend the dragon, as he had no other person to go to. Thundermaw and him, currently, are partners in combat, Fennec acting as a dragonrider for the dragon. The Satyr wears a set of dragon armour that he had taken from a Wyvern Guild of the North, and upon his return, shed his own blood to stain the metal red, in honour, and mutual bonding, for Thundermaw.
Fennec wields a warhammer, along with a large shield in his offhand. His main preference of combat is to ride upon the back of Thundermaw, and go for specific strikes that the dragon's vicious strategy cannot account for. In certain cases, he may even leap from the back of the beast, and fight other winged opponents on the back of their own steeds.
