Hundred-Year Lightning

Within the southern parts of Scyllia, lays a wasteland like no other. Not like the Sea of Sands, or the Bennatia Dunes, but instead one of tropical origin. In an instant, hundreds of years ago, a cataclysmic storm had formed upon the isolated tower of the Blesk Spell-Sword known as Quendar. Swirling winds and tides had wiped out the entire tower, with it's remnants being torn to shreds around the rocky surroundings. Since then, lightning strikes have become a common occurrence here, which was recently found to be harvestable. If the lightning makes contact with silver, it is stored within the material until it finds itself a target, either by the lightning's own volition, or that of it's user. Relatively, the lightning found here is very dangerous, and has resulted in hundreds of foolish, power-hungry idiots into claiming a premature death. Although, the few that survive have said to become very power sorcerers, if they hold no silver properties directly on their person. These people are known as Sons of Storms.
The lightning itself has been, in recent times, harvested by those with prosthetic limbs made of silver. It has elevated people into becoming super-human in different portions of their body, reflecting the area that the prosthetic is located. Those with a metal leg have been reported to have incredible feats of speed, often with lightning of similar properties to the Storm's, left as a trail. These trails often stay for around ten minutes, and can act like a barrier of any conductible opponent. Those with metal fillings in their teeth have displayed the ability to breath lightning, in the same breath as draconic beings. Those with metallic plates on their head have displayed incredible intelligence, able to have minor psionics as well. However, those that are infused with Hundred-Year Lightning through prosthetic hands have a remarkable ability to generate this lightning for themselves, and channel it through somatic movements, representing that of ancient sorceries.

Stitchers of the Storm

One group of people that have harnessed the ability of the lightning in the strongest form is the Stitchers. Mainly compromised of those with prosthetic hands, these experts in anatomy often create malformed bodies made of the dead's body parts. Often combining them through deadly necromancy, before their discovery of both the storm and it's lightning. Once this was found, many of them migrated through caravans to harness the lightning themselves. Many were wiped out, but those that claimed to be the smartest, had cut off a hand and replaced it with one made of silver. Instead of necromancy, bearing the chance of their own deaths during experiments, they were able to create new life altogether through the lightning that they were able to harness. For those considered either 'too weak' or 'too frightened' to cut off a hand, the Stitchers were able to find a method to keeping the lightning in a jar, for them to use instead. The life created here was often put into servitude, or simply made out of morbid curiosity to what would and what wouldn't work. Many weird creations were made, including floating brains, hands made to reflect the mind of a spider, as well as just amalgamations of body parts, put together simply for the sake of fun.

The Over-Charged, Rino Zolbor
As a warforged being, without the gift of magic to form a consciousness, Rino Zolbor was taken to the Storm to be used by a Stitcher to generate life inside of his mechanical body. The preparations had gone well, everything was in order, except the trader of Rino had loosened the restraints on their body, and so when they were taken deeper into the storm to be channelled lightning, they slipped out, and flew into the Eye of the Storm. Here, Rino would be subject to multiple strikes of lightning, all across their body, giving them a spark of life, but also a spark of egotism. It had taken him multiple months to be thrown out of the storm, where he had went upon a rampage against approaching Stitchers, and their amalgamations of bizarre beings. Their opponents were no match, the only ones that stood a chance of survival were those with implants on their head, as they'd know that their strength would not be enough for Rino.
Unlike most other warforged, Rino holds little physical forms of weaponry or ways to fight. In fact, their original purpose was to simply exist, for whoever their trader once was. Despite this, the damage, or blessings, as they'd think, done to Rino demonstrates the raw power, and corruption, that lightning that has been stirring for hundreds of years is a lightning not to be toyed with. Rino has made that clear, even developing themselves wings to properly hunt down other Stitchers, especially the ones that use implants and prosthetics.
