Navi, The Ancient
"ah, newcomers. Freeing me, at last. Quite fitting, really. Artus put up a good fight. He always has. But we should return, now. Two weeks is all that Malus gets of peace. Let us bring the hells up to him,"Ancient Dragons are a rare occurrence in Wider Aitso, especially due to The Draconic Calling , which had lured dozens of Wyrms away from other regions of the world. The only place where they are in abundence is the Thevagon Isles. Through this action, it had lured in many that were eager to aid Malus in his efforts of conquer. One ancient dragon, however, that had defied his power, decided to become a direct adversary to the Tyrant's rule. A brass dragon of the name Sistrola Thasnavi, also known as Navi, had challenged Malus' authority through defending the Thevagon Isles from a member of his horde's initial siege on the shorelines. Navi's scale of pure strength and power was enough for the people of the lands to see her as a proud defender of them all. Since then, Navi has fended off against many foes that have threatened the lives of those she cares about, and is considered one of the Decadions of the Archipelago, as a token of gratitude towards her service. When it came to the final battle against Malus, the Charred Colossus, Navi had aided her partner, Roxy Galahad, in taking down the tyrant, imprisoning him in the depths of the oceans, where he could never escape. This resulted in her truest form of dedication yet - where she vowed to follow Roxy on her journey to wherever they go next. As she left her decadion status, parades and festivals occurred all across the islands, showcasing how much of a hero she was to the people of the lands.
- Sistrola Thasnavi, Ancient Dragon of Brass
Like all dragons, Navi holds immense power. Born a Brass Dragon, Navi held the powers of heat and fire, and whilst the Dragons of Brass may not hold as much power over fire as their natural enemy, the Red Dragon, their ability to control the natural heat of their environment makes them powerful allies to those wishing to build a civilisation. These dragons also poessess all common traits of the Dragon family - large wings, alternate forms, clawed feet, and durable scales. Brass Dragons are known for having unique traits, such as rigid plates of natural armour that is reminiscent of a snapping turtle's shell. They are capable of deflecting most weapons, unless they are laced with incredibly powerful magic - such as Lancelot's Spear. The wings of a brass are also rather unique, travelling down to the end of their tail. Small, microscopic follicles are found across a Brass Dragon's neck, which is where their immense heat is emitted when engaging in combat. Brass Dragons, in previous eras, were known for being colossal prey. Due to the prideful nature of Red Dragons, they only considered foes that are of equal strength to them as satisfactory prey. This caused the Brass Dragons to evolve to combat fire through their protective scales, as well as form two horns to deter Red Dragons from attacking them in close quarters. Forms taken by the Brass Dragon are all interchangeable, compared to one's true form. Each form taken by a Brass Dragon is likely to have certain characteristics that carry over into their different forms, such as black sclerae, draconic wings, as well as the different forms of breath weapons that they possess. Navi typically uses these alternate forms for social reasons, rather than for strategic reasons, which many Brass Dragons choose to use these alternate forms for.
Brass Dragons are known for being tricksters and carefree. They seek out new ways to thrill themselves, and are drawn towards friendly competition to prove their strength in all aspects of character. Brass Dragons make sure that they are on good terms with those that they are close with at a near-constant rate. The average Brass Dragon is known for being capably strong, as well as being charismatic enough to hold status in many regions. They are natural socialites, and are found within the epicenters of ampitheatres, one of the Brass Dragons' most esteemed creations. Navi, in particular, holds a high sense competitiveness, and is eager to prove her power. Before serving as a member of the Decadions, Navi was known for challenging famed warriors to fights, all across the main continents. She saw bouts in Graceswift, Lydgartha, Erialla, and Casshire Island. Her fighting days were considered glorious to the fighting rings of Aitso, and it is where Navi discovered her key interest in combat. Highly competitive, Navi would grow bored of the ritual combat, and would take influence from the tendencies of Red Dragons, who only hunt down worthy foes. She decided to test her might against red dragons themselves, and establish a reversal in the predator and prey relationship. Records of this point had only seen Navi as an anonymous human figure, known for her valourous combat, but during her time as a Young Brass Dragon, her title of Sistrola Thasnavi became known as legend. In red dragon-ridden regions, Navi served as a protector to travellers, merchants, and heroes, when going through their territory. Whenever they would begin to be hunted down, Navi took the opportunity to feast on the Red Dragons.
Sistrola Thasnavi became a local legend, having been defined for her characteristics of being a saviour to the common people and upcoming heroes. It was to the point where the Trolavus Festival was decreed as a region-wide celebration to makr their admiration towards the dragon. Little did they know, that Navi had visited the festival every year, allowing herself some time to enjoy the festivities - and relish in the fact that people love what she does. She would be the first to admit that she has quite an ego. These festivals were prominent over a couple decades, only becoming more and more magnifcent and grandiose with each passing year. The love for a single dragon became incredibly unanimous in the region. Eventually, however, the Red Dragons were driven away from the lands altogether, and it was only then, did Navi's undying loyalty to the land begin to wither - for there was nothing to protect it from. The time that she hadn't made a visit to the festival, was the one time where her presence would've mattered. Rioting barbarians from northbound lands
Sistrola Thasnavi wasn't the only dragon of high status and renown at this time. Malus, the Charred Colossus, was an ancient Darkbound Dragon at this time. Having been warped by the Realms That Rest Beyond, his body was warped to hold the essence of draconic evil, a very manifestation of Tiamat's power. This power angered Navi. A tyrannical foe like Malus seemed to be a suitable enemy for herself. But even through her might and ego, she knew that she was no match for such a foe. At least, not yet. Through the rumours of the land, something she often got in return for her services to protect travelers and other heroes, she had heard of a place in South-West Aitso known as the Thevagon Isles. An archipelago, known for a strange floating island that had manifested in recent years. Dark shadows were said to disguise the floating island, and from it came a shifting storm. Where others saw a reason to fear this natural phenomena, and possibly leave the islands through not knowing what this strange power was - Navi instead saw opportunity for a chance to take on Malus. This dark power reeked of the Realms that Rest Beyond. If there'd be a challenge anywhere on Aitso, it'd be there, and Navi was delighted to venture onward to defeat some powerful enemies.
The War against Malus had been fought over a period of three months. Starting from the initial attack on the Island of Adadis - where Malus had used a more tame version of his fire breath to lay waste to Adadis' city - Sistrola Thasnavi had been one of the first to directly attack Malus. He had engaged in direct combat with Thasnavi, and had essentially brought her to near-death. She was brutally defeated, and the clash entered the ocean, where she had supposedly suffocated. Malus ended the fight by crushing her rib cage, before leaving. He had not bothereed to finish destroying the Adadis courthall, or much left of the city - which allowed for many of the people of the region to survive by entering the Adadis Vaults. Whilst the city was lost, as was their greatest defence against Malus, the Coalition had been formed to slowly destroy Malus' forces without him realising in time to wipe them all out.
Whilst a coalition was formed, Navi had to go into hiding, to heal her draconic form and to make sure that nobody had encountered her in either weakened state. There was one place that she could escape to, that she had heard legends of. One of the Lords of the Isles, under Lancelot's command, had defected from his forces upon his disappearance. That lord was Kral Artus, a man who had been famed for his unarmed combat. From this, Navi found a small spark of her old interest in combat. It was just what she needed whilst she recovered. Hiding through the coves and undersides of the Adadis shoreline, she eventually swam from one island, to another, until eventually reaching The Pit. The Pit was where Kral Artus had been hiding from the Lancein armies, an underground settlement for nomads, warriors and criminals. Whilst it had no official rules, it had its issues and differences settled through combat. Duels were the most common form of fighting within The Pit, and fighting would continue until one party falls unconscious. None of the battles are meant to be to death, and very few are done with intention to finish the fight before any blood is drawn. This kind of place was perfect for Navi to recover in. Within days, she had already made a name for herself as a new champion. Most of those that challenged her had been defeated rather easily - with the only one who had held any morsel of a chance against her being Kral Artus himself. Once the Coalition had come to The Pit, in order to claim Kral Artus' old gauntlets, they had faced him in combat, until Navi had finished the fight herself, handing them his gauntlets - as well as her companionship in the Coalition, as she had healed enough to fight back against the draconic foe.
Relationships

When it comes to power, Navi in her humanoid form excels past most, if not, all humans. She is a supernatural force to be reckoned with. It is reckoned that, when not holding back, Navi has a base striking force of one kiloton, enough to shatter castles and break off floating islands.
