Brass Dragons

A wicked man searches for water in a desert, whilst a kind man looks for a friend, for that friend may have all the water in the lands.
Brass Dragons are a powerful form of dragons that are found across all planes of existence that can host dragons - especially ones with hot climates. These dragons also poessess all common traits of the Dragon family - large wings, alternate forms, clawed feet, and durable scales. Brass Dragons are known for having unique traits, such as rigid plates of natural armour that is reminiscent of a snapping turtle's shell. They are capable of deflecting most weapons, unless they are laced with incredibly powerful magic - such as Lancelot's Spear. The wings of a brass are also rather unique, travelling down to the end of their tail. Small, microscopic follicles are found across a Brass Dragon's neck, which is where their immense heat is emitted when engaging in combat. Brass Dragons, in previous eras, were known for being colossal prey. Due to the prideful nature of Red Dragons, they only considered foes that are of equal strength to them as satisfactory prey. This caused the Brass Dragons to evolve to combat fire through their protective scales, as well as form two horns to deter Red Dragons from attacking them in close quarters. Forms taken by the Brass Dragon are all interchangeable, compared to one's true form. Each form taken by a Brass Dragon is likely to have certain characteristics that carry over into their different forms, such as black sclerae, draconic wings, as well as the different forms of breath weapons that they possess.
Dragons, in a general sense, are feared by the masses for their tyrannical nature, but those that hold scales that aren't of bright colours are seen to be not as violent and erratic as their chromatic counterparts. Brass Dragons, one of the average variations of dragons that are seen as inherently good, or at least neutral in terms of morality, have the capacity to go toe to toe with most foes that are hellbent on destroying civilisation. Whilst they may not have the creative freedom of an iridescent dragon, or the ability to tear open portals to other realms like a Voidwyrm, the Brass Dragon gains most of its uniqueness from its irrefutable charm and suave. They have the innate nature to transform into other forms, like most dragons, into humans or other commonly found races and species. A brass dragon is most likely found within deserts and other dry regions, but would often travel to cities when maintaining a humanoid form, often the dominant species of the settlement they are travelling to - such as humans in the Thevagon Isles.
A brass dragon has an innate, cognitive desire to become friends with any and all creatures. They treat every life that they can find, no matter how small, short-lived, or meaningless it may be to the rest of the world, as if they are heaven-sent. Each one, they reckon, have a story to tell. Brass Dragons are prideful in their graciousness to all that they consider below them - especially if they have tales to tell. When taking human forms, a Brass Dragon is likely to be an entertainer. Whilst being good-hearted and kind, one common sin found within Brass Dragons is their vanity. A lot of Brass Dragons often change stories so that they may seem to be the heroes. Whilst they may have holes in their stories, it is best to not call a Brass Dragon out on their lies - as it may result in incineration, if brought to an extreme sense of anger.

Argus - Demigod of Brass Dragons

With Tiamat being the Goddess to all of Dragonkind, symbolising the unity of dragons under a state of intelligence and raw power - those that had great relations with her, often her children, were blessed with incredible power. Argus, one of her sons, had been given divine status as a Demigod. With this, his scales turned brass, and his body contorted to fit the appearance of a brass dragon, in order to represent them within the Draconic Pantheon. Argus' wings stretched to the end of his tail, and his horns shifted into different places. This painful transformation left him with divine power - being seen as a divinity to be worshipped by lesser Brass Dragons, and any other species with personal or genetic relations to Brass Dragons, like the Sand Wyrm.
Argus, in all of his self-obsessed self, would often bring powerful materials from across the lands, directly into the hands of thsoe he deemed interesting. On his account, alone, he has been the reason for dozens of wars in Abholos. He is an abhorrent stench upon the idea of the Brass Dragon, and has been a great target of powerful Brass Dragons that wish to claim his demigod status in the hierarchy of the Draconic Pantheon. Despite his arrogance, Argus has proven himself to be one of the more powerful beings within the Demigod extended family of the pantheon. Never has there been a fight that he has pulled himself away from, and there has never been a fight where he has conceded.
