The Centre Party

The Centre Party is a political party within the new Reichstag, Frankfurt in The German Empire.

History:

Originally formed in 1870, it successfully battled the Kulturkampf waged by Chancellor Otto von Bismarck against the Catholic Church, and went on to become the third-largest party in the Reichstag. After the Kapp Pustch, the party was banned under Wolfgang Kapp's dictatorship and the ban wasn't lifted until martial law ended in February 1922 where it was quickly reestablished in (West Germany) The German Empire under Wilhelm III,
