Kumi

Morto Planno (a.k.a. Kumi)

A missionary from The Church of Bob, Kumi is also an envoy of Tolkeen.
His mission is to collect as many non-humans and practicioners of the arcane as he can from the clutches of the Coalition States and the 1st Apocalyptic Cavalry. He is also tasked with steering as many people as possible away from Lazlo and other diverse communities and point them towards Tolkeen.

Physical Description

Body Features

Imagine a grey hairless cat about four and a half feet tall and you would have a good picture of Kumi. Then add an assortment of piercings and decorations, including a crown of long orange tendrils that look like dreadlocks, and you've completed the picture.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Kumi came through the Calgary rift as a child. He/she made it to Tolkeen on the promise of salvation, fighting against the Xiticix and savage beasts of Rifts Earth all the way. Kumi was the only one to survive the journey and was awestruck and very much impacted by the safety and security that Tolkeen represented.
He/she was a quick convert to Rastafarianism and helped to found the official Church of Bob.

Gender Identity

Kumi presents no obvious gender identity. As a relatively unique species, no one is available to say one way or another.

Morality & Philosophy

Kumi knows the power of belief. Kumi knows the power of fear and of hope. Kumi knows how to turn victimhood into power.

While Kumi may have once been a true Rasta, he is now an agent of Tolkeen's Church of Bob. Only a true rasta of Ja would know the difference. The casual follower or uninitiated would not know there was a difference between original rasta and those following Tolkeen's official Church of Bob. The biggest difference is that The Church of Bob preaches that Tolkeen is the promised land, while the original rastas believe that the promised land is either a deebee's home dimension or is an idealized Rifts Earth where everyone lives in love and respect.
