Wendy Bloodwoad
Pharmacologa Wendy Bloodwoad (a.k.a. Maythe)
Wendy Bloodwoad is a Deathless Pharmacologa from Kargast. She was known for being one of the founding Alrauna in the "Golden Age" of their existence. This occurred when she was resuscitated after drowning in a lake at the estate of A****** A******* , located in the Gloynbyw Coalfields. She later married a Hexen impostor of A******, and together they raised Sheena who would become a founding figure in the Clockmakers. The three would eventually estrange themselves pursuing their own Deathless journeys.
Wendy also participated in the first Eskern Cycle as an Ambactos for Ava1ch, allying with Idalia Lark. Her alignment is Citron, and she specialized in Formalin, which is a banned substance. She is known for using a variety of tools which are now considered illegal, including an umbrella that can fire lead bullets.
She is an influential member of the Dead Friends Society though her long tenure and friendship with Jugurtha, the other oldest member of the group. She has survived being beheaded and maimed multiple times through her symbiotic relationship with chamomile, known in Kargast as maythe.

Personal history
Wendy is a Cambion of mixed Sarcophaga and Heno descent. She was raised in the Golden Medlar Valley by one of the many Thousand-armed families, and thus had many siblings and little personal space or agency. When she came of age, she was selected to work at the Abellion Orchards which was considered an honour.
While working for the main Abellion Orchards estate she drowned in mysterious circumstances. Due to the temperature of the water freezing her organs and some haphazard folk healing, Wendy was resuscitated. She was returned to Golden Medlar under the false pretense that she had been expelled for stealing. After this Wendy suffered from post traumatic stress.
When Wendy turned 40, she was eligible to return to Abellion Orchards to train as a priestess. She ultimately did not take this offer but would later return to Abellion Orchards after a Nycteria outbreak, where she and several other members of the Golden Medlar community were abandoned.
Ultimately Wendy would get involved with Ava1ach Abe1lion, a Hexen impersonating the now deceased owner, and an illegitimate daughter named Sheena.
Mental Trauma
Wendy experienced emotional neglect and silent rejection throughout her natural life. The rumours of her alleged banishment from Abellion Orchards combined with the symptoms of Death Delusion left her feeling ostracized. She felt little warmth toward her siblings even though she was a primary caregiver for some, which left her wracked with guilt. Her parents attempted to push the narrative she had been possessed by evil and was now redeemed, including more purgative religious ceremonies and study in her life.
Even after she became an adult and much of the stigma around her had become old news, Wendy could not bring herself to open up to others. She never really warms up to people, even her own future family, something which she feels a deep pain for. Wendy knows that Sheena remembers her more as a mentor than a mother. She believes that the grief she feels at that is her only sign that she is somewhat capable of feeling love.
