Sheena Mirverch
Sancta Ioannes "Sheena" Abellion- Bloodwoad, Mirverch (a.k.a. Lily-of-the-valley)
Ioannes "Sheena" Abellion-Bloodwoad Mirverch, known professionally as Saint/Sancta Sheena, Sheena of the Prisons, and Ioanna Mirverch, is a central figure to the Island of Woad, particularly in the South and Midlands. She is the adopted daughter of Ava1ach Abellion, the Double Walker of A****** A*******.
When she came of age, she joined the priesthood of Mihras, the state's patron deity and son of their supreme goddess Ioannes, where she earned the epithet Mirverch "daughter of Mihr". Her nickname Sheena, is how Ioannes is written in her family's local dialect, similar to the name Sianes/Sian among Glendatis.
She and her followers became increasingly extremist in her later years, how much of it was proportionate to the political turbulence of the Empire is a matter of debate. She and her priestesses were eventually assassinated for it, but Sheena survived the attack and used her father's radio station to call for help.
She was rescued by a network of other radio users her parents had been communicating with. It is believed that Bel, the supreme deity of the Gannwyll Gwydd culture, was the name of her radio. She would eventually become a Papess in the Early Clockmaker religion, and upon her natural death was made into a Saint.
However, Sheena had been made an Alrauna by her parents long before the assassination. And so as the first Living Saint, she became the patron Saint of criminals, prisoners, and outcasts. Her Alrauna classification is "Lily".
She was ultimately defrocked and for sometime, a cult around her as an anti-Papess was popular. She went into hiding when the Australis dynasty collapsed.
