UNAUTHORISED READING WILL BE MET WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE
Subject TARTARUS, now confirmed as being an H-type-XVII non-physical entity, has been temporally excised with extreme prejudice by EPIMETHEUS after he managed to persuade it to accept a duel as the means for a final resolution to his infernal entanglements. The relative success of this process must be attributed to a combined effort. Epimetheus carried out a thorough deception operation after my subtle exhortations to that end, and was further strengthened by irregular augmentations by Damocles during the duel itself. TARTARUS was left unable to transport itself away after I activated a GL/SA1142-LTE in the vicinity, and around thirty seconds after the commencement of the duel, TARTARUS yielded. An extraordinary display of defeat for an entity of that nature in and of itself; however, it stands to reason that this retreat is merely temporary. Even then, for the first time in two months, I can finally enjoy an extended leisurely stay without the impending machinations of murderous shapeshifters and marauding contract-makers suddenly striking me down.
In the coming days, I intend to resolve two debts and continue to establish a favourable rapport with Asterion, Epimetheus, and Damocles. CALLIOPE'S stay at the Sara Militant turned out terribly, and compensation is in order, as well as an apology, as I severely underestimated the repeated and excessive mortal danger of the journey that I brought her along for. The GALLANT ICARUS provided critical and irreplaceable support in Epimetheus' endeavour, and regardless of Asterion's negative disposition towards institutional authority, it is now our honourable duty to reset the scale of obligation. This also has the added benefit of creating contacts, and considering that the Sara Militant has, in the span of a month, generated 9000 gold ducats from independent contracts with the SUZANNEIAD, it is high time to establish this type of network as Asterion and his crew are only bound to become more involved with the politics of Fontus from now on. Demonstrated competence draws the attention of all kinds of morally bankrupt venture-seeking, "risk-averse," and profit-incentivising monsters of the market in Fontus.
