Murder!   An apparent death by gunshot while fleeing the location of a theft has revealed itself to be far darker and more twisted than originally thought. What was in the papers stolen and now carried by the foreign doctor? What was the strange list of alchemical ingredients? Who is Heward Sechim, and why did he care about protecting Nilasa, and what is his relationship to Nevard Sechim, the skyseer in the cloudwood? And what has Aeldrith gotten himself into?

Session 8 - On the Fence

Through the party's efforts, war has narrowly been avoided. However, for the last few months, tiny tremors have shaken the city of Flint. Docker poets take it as a manifested metaphor of the rifts opening up between the different districts and cultures. Angry protests march through Bosum Strand and Parity Lake to denounce cruel treatment of factory workers, and the police thrash those who make too big a name for themselves.   Others whisper that the tremors indicate the displeasure of the fey, perhaps even the stirring of one of the sleeping titans from its fitful slumber.   You have been taken off of the politically volatile case of the Duchess and her insurrection. Your latest case has been looking into the terrorist known as "Gale". Her previous actions have included sabotage of equipment and theft from the estates of the wealthy, but may or may not include the recent deaths of a company of surveyors in the Cloudwood.
