Session 3 - Overreaction Report

General Summary

Duchess Ethelyn's forces have taken Axis Island from Danor! War is extremely likely if the island is not returned to Danor within days. The party has been asked to sneak onto the island, find the engineer of the fort, find a way to passwall into the fort itself, take the sea gate and hold it open for ten minutes so that Risuri forces can retake the fort itself. In the middle of all of this, Lya Jierre has asked that you try to find her cousin Nathan, who was on the island before the attack, and see that he is safe.   Unfortunately, the combat support that was sent with the party, Team Zero from Slate, have been crushed under unknown circumstances involving a purple light. The cave the party has entered has an exit thirty feet above them, and a gunshot has echoed out through the darkness, leaving Mairi injured.   Risur has less than 48 hours before it must turn over the island to Danor. How many of the king's men will die retaking the island fort in order to meet that deadline?
