What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
The ability to use multiple tags and filter tags in tagged lists. For example showing all articles tagged with #tag1 and #tag2, #tag1 or #tag2, or show all posts with #tag1 except the ones also tagged with #tag2.
Tagged lists only allow for one tag and no filtering, which makes them limiting in their usage and customization. It means if we want to be specific and tailor the output of tagged lists, we need to create redundant tags just for that purpose.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
Being able to filter tags would open up an incredible amount of customization using tagged lists, as well as remove the need for redundant tags.What are other uses for this feature request?
This would be invaluable for customizing category pages, displaying highly specific relevant articles, auto-populating specific lists for players, and creating different featured article lists for different sections of the world. The creativity of this community would find endless ways to use this to their advantage!The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! It's definitely an interesting idea, but also quite complicated to develop correctly. We're closing this for now as it would require a much higher number of people in favor to consider it.
