Dirvella

Dirvella is a town on the eastern side of Yegoth River just south of the juncture of Kuskyn River with Yegoth River. It exists primarily as a trade center for the regions surrounding it.

Government

The town government is an oligarchy consisting of nine individuals. These members are elected every three years by the general population of the city. They hold the rank of "Archon".

Defences

The town has walls surrounding it with at least two lookout towers in each direction. The docks and a small shanty town are outside the walls on the southern side of the town. In the event of an emergency, all can withdraw into the town behind the walls.

Industry & Trade

Dirvella thrives on trade. They import food and textile crops from the Duvkush grassland of Narzad for transport south along The Yegoth River to the city of Shazun. They import lumber from north of town to build boats for fishing and transport. Additionally, they export both lumber and finished goods to the Duvkush grassland region and Thanyn. They have some trade with the Land Yanryl of Thanyn, primarily importing hides and meat. Additionally, they have a thriving fishing community that provides both food for the town and export goods to the Duvkush grassland region and Thanyn.
