Gisela, being the daughter of arguably the most powerful couple in Kalastrad, has had a life of few worries. Her parents love her more than anything, but, juggling a small nation, political rivalries, and the recovery from a war with their daughter is a tough job. This has left Gisela with an abundance of freedom that she uses to its fullest.
Taking after her father, Gisela is a skilled Mage. She has read all of her father's books on the topic, and even read – and understood most of – On Cosmic Boundaries. Given time, she may be even better than Enoch, but there isn't much use for magic if you don't get to use it, and nobles rarely get to use it. It's been a long time since there was a Magocracy, but Gisela would love to make Kalastrad into one... if she got to take the throne.
That's another area she takes after Enoch: she sees life as a game. Gisela is able to break down all her interactions and choices like pieces on a game board, seeking to “win” conversations. This has, naturally, made her a bit lonely, as most of the other children would rather play ball in the meadow than psychoanalyze their friends – and they certainly don't want to be analyzed themselves.
Her parents are hoping that all of that will change for her at the Arkham School of Gallantry. In theory, she will be able to find more like-minded individuals and bond with them over their shared interests. So far, she has actually managed to find a few friends, and, it seems, may be developing her first crush.
