Born on 6th Octherin, 518 A.C., Korin entered the world in the humble village of Kaldan, surrounded by the quiet embrace of the Syndar forests. The assault came without warning—fire, screams, and chaos engulfed the village as the warriors tore through homes and fields. Korin, alongside Markus and his father, fought valiantly to protect their family and neighbors, but the Wildfolk’s numbers and ferocity overwhelmed them.
Amidst the chaos, Korin was separated from Markus and his parents. Desperate to find them, he fought his way through the village, only to witness the flames consuming everything he had ever known. Injured and overcome with grief, he fled into the woods, his mind a whirlwind of guilt and fear and his body torned by injuries.

The Dæmonic pact (537 A.C.)

Wounded and on the brink of death, Korin collapsed deep in the forest. It was then that Ithila, a cunning and powerful Dæmons, appeared before him. She offered him a choice: die here, alone and broken, or accept her help in exchange for his soul. Desperate to survive and driven by the hope of finding his family, Korin agreed.
