The Wildfolk, a fierce and untamed group of raiders, descended upon the outlying villages with brutal efficiency, torching homes, pillaging supplies, and leaving destruction in their wake. Their numbers were overwhelming, a relentless wave of savagery that knew no mercy. The villages of Balad, including Kaldan, were unprepared for such an assault, and panic spread as the Wildfolk ravaged the land, slaughtering those who stood in their path. The skies darkened with smoke as the roar of battle echoed across the kingdom, and the once-peaceful villages were turned into battlegrounds. The Wildfolk's goal was clear: to break the kingdom’s defenses and claim the land for themselves, sowing chaos and fear wherever they went.
