Lucius is the Head of Lastar School when Taskin and Kevian arrive at Lastar . He retires 12114 AE at the age of 85, appointing Nurim Treewater as his successor. He is the one who both hires Taskin to work at the school and the one who chooses him to be a cohort parent.

Personal history
Lucius joins The Senary as a follower of Nakhta . An extraneous forth or fifth son of one of the Brilliant Empire 's noble houses, he was pledged to the Temple at the age of five. He showed great leadership and promise amongst his peers during his First Flight service. He started Second Flight service remaining as a Nakhtim, serving as teacher for the Fledglings, but after several years of discernment chose to transfer to the ranks of the Neferim rather than enter Third Flight service.
Employment
After leaving the Nakhtim to serve Nefere, Lucius continued his role as a teacher; with a speciality in maths. He settled into a role at the Lastar School teaching maths, becoming the Head of School at the age of 72.

History
Taskin and Lucius met when Lucius hired Taskin as a teacher at the Lastar school. Over the time that Taskin works for him, he comes a close mentor and they remain friends after Lucius retires.
