Dianthe Dell was known for two big things - the first was her standing as a military commander, and the second was her complex relationship status and choices.
Despite the fact that many were quite certain Dianthe had only been pregnant two or three times, Dianthe did not tolerate any rumors or speculation as to the parentage of the other six children, and they were named in the line of succession in birth order until Nikolas had heirs of his own. Most of Dianthe's reign was spent waiting to see if the newly named Emphir Melker Talat would attempt to expand his fledging Empire towards through Delryn, or go a different direction. Because of this uncertainty, Dianthe was brought up with a strong military education and training, in case she needed it, and she loved it. She left most of the day-to-day running of her Kingdom to the Royal Council and the Kingdom Council and the running of her personal household to her husband Miles Dell, and with her lover and bodyguard Dorian Fox at her side, spent most of her time embedded into their military, innovating and strengthening it.Military Career
Princess Dianthe was a respected military officer already before she was Coronated. She trained with the best of the best, and made a name in being willing to listen and elevating others for their good ideas and hard work, not their social status or just time served. She was commander-in-chief of the armed forces of Delryn in reality, not just as a figurehead. The only large chunk of time she ever spent away from one branch or the other of her militaries was from 11,986-11996 CE, which was the time period during which all of the royal children in her household were born, and during which she was publically known to be pregnant at least twice.Family & Relationships

Dianthe had both a husband, Miles [nee Senarim] Dell, and a consort, Dorian Fox. Miles and Dorian were also well-known to be in a romantic relationship. The trio took a third, Marian , who was romantic partner to all three of them. Over the years the polycule also included Leisl , who was only a partner to Dorian; and Leara , who was only a partner to Miles.Children
