Kingdom of Gehen
The Gehenian peoples saw a war of continental proportion be waged around them, resulting in the formation of a massive Kingdom.
Structure
The Kingdom is built on a common system throughout the continents of Baso . The Wealthiest and Politically prominent Houses form a parliament that aids in the decision making for the Royal House. The Royal House acts as the ruler of the Kingdom, passing the Titles of Leadership from generation to generation.
History
The Landowning Houses that would later be united under the Royal House, eventually accepting the offer to join under the Royal(strongest) House.
Military
Early days of Gehenia were fraught with constants wars between the houses and their peoples. The eventual end was only achieved after a lethal show of force that shook the warring parties to their core. United under the Royal Family, an order was given to disband all but the most necessary soldiering units. The Royal Family then went about recruiting the former soldiers and created a standing army.
Later years would see wars against the bandits and outlaw tribes that would plague the mountains and plains. These wars started to draw the attention of Engineers slowly, being mostly drawn in by the prospect of Funding from the Royal Family.
Agriculture & Industry
The vast lands of Gehenia are prominently spotted with areas of incredible resources. The nutrients present in the western plains are wonderful for growth of both plants and livestock. The access to clean and safe waters also allowed a number of settlements to be established along the rivers and produce a massive amount of agricultural by products.
The central mountain range, while typically impassible, are lush with minerals and metals that could be mined and put to use. The fields of engineering tended to focus of the pair of mining and farming, with occasional focus put on the affairs of military engineering.
Trade & Transport
Roads and safe rivers were quickly established to assist in the expanding of the ruling families lands. These lands were needed for increases in taxing and the growing desires of the Royal Council to have a standing army.
