The ALUMN used this location to coordinate their covert efforts to investigate Realm 9: The Staircase.
It contains advanced magical communication systems. It also serves as a transportation point from Midland to Amadeus Isle, and the mouth of the Staircase.
"The SCIF" provides a buffer between their espionage recruits and the ALUMN. It also acts as a one-way transportation node to the Staircase.
