Amadeus Isle

Amadeus Isle is an island off the southern coast of the nation of Rotterdam, near its capital of Rotterhorn, in Realm 79: The Junction.
For centuries the island was home to a prestigious magic college known as Zikrieg Academy.
An apparent magical explosion of incredible potency was believed to have destroyed the academy, in an apparent experiment gone awry.
The island has been taken over by secretive government forces of Rotterdam, who have declared it a forbidden zone.
Numerous expeditions to the former site of the academy have been rumored to have vanished.

Mirage-like sightings of the castle which housed Zikrieg Academy seem to reveal it "floating" above its former location. It is believed that new "students" were being lured into the academy by airship. Somehow, it was possible to enter the "realm" where Zikrieg Academy now resides by air travel over its former location.

In addition, the former foundations of Zikrieg Academy seem to be a portal to another place where the rules of reality are altered. Appearing to be a staircase leading into the remains of the basement under Zikrieg Academy, the staircase seems to continue descending forever.
