Malatata

Malatata (Also known as Land of Green Blood, Death of Innocent) is a southern region in the large continent known as Archtun. It consists of a variety of defferent sub-regions, and is primarily home to the Orks. Malatata shares a natural border with its northern neighbr, Roscrea, because of the thick Orxder Forest, as well as the ends of the Kenbarna Mountains separating it from Evermist. The sub regions within Malatata include the Great Savanah, the Eastern Raches, the Gutted Wound, the Lower Arm, Heimergerg, and Wetfields. Beneath the surface of Malatata lies the Alchykas Cave System, which is believed to be created by Worm Runners.
Thousands of years of war and hunderds of thousands of deaths have left the region batter-scarred and full of battle sights. It is said by the local Orks that it is harder to find a place where someone hasn't died than has.

Geography

Malatata is surrounded by natural borders, such as the Kenbarna Mountains to the east and the Great Ocean to the west. The north is blocked off by the Orxder Forest. Northern Malatata, such as Heimergerg or the Great Savanah is known to be mild in its temperature, even arid, while the southern land such as the Wetfields tuen swampy and wet. The eastern region of known as the Eastern Reaches, is said to be a highlands that is very hilly and even extend into Marael Highlands in the Realm of Goras.

Ork Provinces

The Orks had divided the different regions of Malatata into separate provinces. Each province is usually ruled by a single tribe, unless the region is home to a "Two-Sword" Tribe, which shares joint control over a province with another tribe, either due to an alliance or both sides have decided to not attack the other for some reason. Smaller tribes can live in provinces owned by a larger tribe as long as they are a vassel to the larger, and pay tribute. Warband tribes ignore all provincial borders and sack and plunder as they please. The great Savanah is divided into ten different provinces, while Heimergerg is divided into five, the Wetfields into three, and the Blooded Wound into a singular province. The Eastern Reaches do not follow the same practice as the rest of Malatata and has no provinces.

History

Malatata's first owners can be traced back to the Vardux Empire after migrating from the north after splitting from the Precursor Species, which conquered much of the northern Great Savanah and a considerable amount of land in Heimergerg. The Vardux Empire's control over the region would be contested when the cyclops would emerge from Alchykas Caves and emerge within the Eastern Reaches and war with the empire. Soon, around the year of 3000 1E, the orks and their kin, the arks, would come from Bescora and battle the vardux over Heimergerg in which is now known as the War of the River.
