Orange Potion
Oranges had to be imported from the other side of the continent of Tensen for hundreds of years, though now they are grown in various parts of West Cassel, mostly because of their properties that allow resistance to corruption from the long dead Dragon Lords, especially that of the Corruption of Maeos.
The apothecary Old Anxi's owns several of these farms and traditionally used the oranges with Oxeye Daisies and tea leaves to make a Pure Potion that resists and cleanses dragon corruption. They started marketing an Orange Soda in 2947 I.A., but only after other companies started doing it. The drink became quite popular and it accounts for a sizeable chunk of their revenue. The addition of a tinge of lime made the flavor punchier than other orange sodas.
One of Old Anxi's most poular potions is the Pure potion because it can cleanse and remove dragon corruption. It is also one of their most expensive potions. Charging an orange potion with aether has the same effect as all of those ingredients, but it costs 50 times less. Old Anxi's closely guards that as a company secret, though there are a number of people that know how it works anyways.
The company is currently experimenting with a way to make orange soda that tastes almost exactly the same, but without any oranges, just citric acid, sugar, and some artificial flavoring. They are hoping the taste ends up being the same, or at least they are hoping that no one cares enough to hurt their profits. This way, they can keep selling their pure potions at an extremely high markup.
