Healing Potion

Many, many different apothecaries have some variety of healing potion, some are instant, and some take a little longer. The Health Potions made by Old Anxi's is one such potion.

Ingredients include cherries, black berries, and Aloe Vera, just some of many different plants known to have some mild healing powers when mixed with magic, boosting the body's natural ability to heal. When combined with sodium chloride and a solution of mana charged water, the result is a stable potion that works for roughly an hour and has a 3 month shelf life.

It is difficult to quanitify what the amount of healing is for a potion like this compared to its time of effectiveness, compared to the body's natural ability to heal. Based on numerous writings from across Vreathe, drinking one of these will cause the body to rapidly heal an injury in one hour that would have taken roughly two weeks to heal on its own. The bottle's claim that cuts and bruises will disappear are true.

The claim that it will help heal a broken bone is not really true and unless precautions are taken, the effect is going to be much worse than getting proper medical attention. To start, the bone must still be set and put in a splint and cast. After that, a health potion of some variety is administered. A health potion from OldAnxi's will help, but several hours and multiple potions are needed. Still, one can heal a broken bone in an evening instead of several months.
