It is universally accepted that Voktegård rotates on an axis and revolves around Sowil. This produces 24 hour days and a 336 day year. This is the result of complex astronomical movements.

Vårjevndøgn is the Spring Equiniox (which in 4th Age, Year 1 was the night the Mørkgoths sacked the Dwarven City and broke the Barrier below, unleashing The Forgotten Powers on the world.
