Just Cause

Former Top Hero from the state of Florida, Just Cause became internationally famous following her fall of grace. She sided with the Freedom Party during its failed coup, and was subsequently defeated and arrested by Invincible.   The irony of someone nicknamed Just Cause (like the US invasion of Panama almost one hundred and fifty years ago, the one organized to depose Manuel Noriega) attempting to overthrow the US Government made her much more known (especially in Central and South America) than one would expect.   She was freed from her prison during the Liberation Festival by the VIllain Alliance of America, during the first minutes of the Second Villain War. She currently remains at large.

Physical Description

Special abilities

Just Cause's individuality is known as Hammerspace. She is capable of storing an unknown - but presumably very large - amount of things within a form of a subspace (that spatially aligns with her body). She is capable of deploying those at will, with a speed of up to fifty kilometres per hour, from any point of her body. She can operate things stored in her Hammerspace without taking them outside, but it requires some focus from her. She also cannot store living organism, who simply 'refuse' to enter the Hammerspace.   That alone would make her a sidekick material at best, even with her special forces training, but the discovery of some underlying mechanisms changed it into one of the most dangerous individualities on the side on the law (until her eventually defection, that is). First of all, the objects that are partially submerged in her body aren't influenced by other forces than her will when their movement is involved. This allows her to partially deploy weaponry as heavy as full-sized artillery cannons and fire them with no ill effects (aside from a risk of burns if she isn't cautious enough), as the Hammerspace negates recoil.   She can also deploy ballistic shields out of her body to shield her allies - for as long as a part of them is anchored in her body, they can be melted for example, but the impact of an physical attack will be entirely negated, regardless of its strength. She can use it to devastating result in melee, where she can negate a punch an respond with a point-blank anti-material rifle blast.   Second of all, she can set her individuality to be fully active, resulting in all physical ranged attacks - guns, shrapnels, thrown knives, projectiles created with individualities, etc. - being automatically stored on contact with her body. Unless surprised, she is impervious to ranged attacks, giving her a natural edge against overwhelming majority of ranged enemies. The only downside of coming under fire is her clothes being shredded, but she is fully capable of replacing them almost instanteously thanks to her individuality.

Apparel & Accessories

Due to her individuality forcing her to 'eject' things out of her body on a regular basis, she leaves majority of her skin uncovered. Her hero uniform was basically a set of combat boots, a short skirt and an extremely short tube top, all but the boots in colours of Floridan state flag.

Specialized Equipment

She always carries on herself a vast arsenal of weapons and tools, stored through her individuality. She is never unarmed, but attempting to list everything she carries on herself is most likely an utter folly.

Personal history

Just Cause comes from a military household in the state of Florida, her family a distant descendants of people who fled from Cuba. By the time she could go to a military school, her individuality manifested. With her background, applying her individuality to guns was a natural choice of actions. And she did that with diligence, soon changing her 'sidekick-level' individuality into a powerhouse that made her a superhero and, eventually, the first one among her kind in her home state.   Then, however, she began to increasingly resent the authoritarian measures that the US Government was taking to survive the Wishgranter's aftermath. In a way, once again, it was a family thing, though with Florida being among the most contrarian states. As a result, she began to gravitate towards the opposition, becoming a vocal supporter of the Freedom Party in her state.   She was eventually introduced to the People's Liberation Front, becoming one of its strongest members. She was also chosen by Destro to participate in the Freedom Party's coup, the one directly preceding the PLF's reveal and the outbreak of the First Villain War. The plan ended with failure, with Just Cause being apprehended following a fierce clash with Invincible.   Despite several attempts to break her out of the prison by the PLF, she remained there until the end of the war. This changed at the dawn of the Second VIllain War, when she was broken out of her prison during the Villain Alliance of America's Liberation Festival.

Education

Despite becoming a hero, she continued attending a military school, although at her insistence its curriculum was made significantly more extreme - in fact, what she went through was comparable to a special forces training. She is an expert at CQC, is a qualified bomb expert and a marksman.

Morality & Philosophy

Coming from a military background, she values tradition, hard work and readiness to save others. Similarly, she has developed quite a large degree of dislike towards authoritarian systems (this coming both from her military education AND family background), a fact that greatly contributed to her eventual defection.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Strengths
An all-rounded combatant, especially devastating at a medium to long range. She is entirely capable of fighting in melee, although due to her individuality requiring a lot of conscious thought to be used in melee, she will struggle against more than a single competent enemy. Is basically impervious to ranged physical attacks as well.
 
Weaknesses
She is entirely vulnerable to chemical attacks (especially the ones working through skin contact - she can conjure a Hazmat suit on herself, but it will help her survive, not continue fighting). She struggles against more than one competent melee fighter at a close range (as already stated), especially as when she fires guns 'from her body' she can't exactly aim them. She can run out of ammunition, and she is still vulnerable to non-physical ranged attacks.
