Nixus
God of Justice, Honor, Duty
Nixus, the Dragon-Father is one of the Astrum, the god of justice, and the creator of the metallic Dragons. He is known as the Dragon Father for this, and he is worshipped by most metallic Dragon, Dragonborn, and Dragontouched, as well as many Lawful Good creatures. He is said to be the second of the Astrum created by the Weaver, after the Elven god Aevyros. Nixus has major temples in almost every major city in Veteria, and his influence runs incredibly deep.
Nixus is the husband of Themia, the goddess of Divine Justice, and a fellow Astrum. His greatest foe is the great betrayor, Myrexia. Nixus created Myrexia as a lesser deity to rule over a new race created in his image, the Dragonborn. Myrexia was thought to be beautiful and just, but hatred festered in her over being less than the Astrum, especially Aevyros, the most prideful of the Astrum. Myrexia corrupted many of the dragons, becoming the god of the chromatic dragons, and she created the dragonborn as slaves for these dragons. Enraged, Nixus inspired the dragonborn to rebel, and with the help of the metallic dragons, they broke free of the chromatic dragons, save for a few zealots.
