Aevyros

God of Knowledge, Art, and the Arcane

Aevyros, Lord of Magic is the god of traditional magic, an Astrum, and the creator of the elves. Elves are highly adaptive so it is unknown which subspecies was the original, or if Elves even exist that resemble the first of them. Aevyros created the Feywild alongside Illudya, and many of the species native to the Feywild were created by the two. Aevyros was the first god to experiment with magic outside of the traditional divine powers they all have, and he blessed his creations with deep ties to the Arcane. Though Aevyros and Illudya are not married, they have a son, the lesser deity Polymetys, god of invention and creator of Gnomes. Aevyros is worshipped by High Elves and many magic users, and is considered the most intelligent of the gods. He is also known as the painter god for his love of art, and is considered the patron of artists everywhere.
