6. Maddok’s Wainwright

This large barn holds two carts and three wagons along with six horses. There are also two guard dogs here. They will both bark at strangers until told to hush. A simple sign showing a horse and cart hangs suspended from two chains by the shop’s entrance.
PMaddok’s Wainwright is the sole wagon repair and transport hub in Nulb, an operation riddled with corruption and steeped in the murky dealings of bandits, smugglers, and agents of the Temple of Elemental Evil. This wagon shop, essential for commerce and logistics in Nulb, serves as a lifeline for the Temple’s secret supply chain, ferrying illicit goods between Imeryd's Run, the Temple, and beyond.

Description of the Workshop

Maddok’s Wainwright is a large, sagging barn, built from warped river-timbers and salvaged wagon parts. The scent of wood shavings, pitch, and oil mingles with the more unsettling odors of unwashed men and damp straw. The shop houses multiple carts, wagons, and a stable of tough draft horses, well-accustomed to the treacherous roads of the Gnarley Forest and the Low Road.

  • Signage: A rusted iron wheel hangs from chains above the entrance, clanking in the wind.
