Azar the Cat

Azar is an old member of the Xabat tribe.
After he and his companions were transported to Velandris, he was part of the groups that went out scouting the world, in search for anything relating to The Great Roc and potential allies. During this time, he came back to his tribe occasionally, but during a longer mission into the Northern Outer Regions, where there was rumored to be a shrine to the Great Roc, he and his companions became lost in the Northern fringes of Jaervor.
He was the only survivor of the expedition, and eventually found his way back to civilization, where he came into contact with Jarl Hindar V of Hindarskjall, who found him to be a fascinating creature, one that he had never seen before. The two became fast friends over long talks about their cultures and customs and eventually, Azar decided to stay by the Jarl's side and serve him as the caretaker of the Menagerie.
Due to the Hindarskjall tradition of nicknaming, the Jarl gave Azar the nickname "Cat" as a little joke to his heritage. This does not appear to bother Azar in the slightest.
