Inos

Inos is a small island east of Meridan Island. It is encompassed by steep cliffs of black volcanic rock, which present in unique, seemingly unnatural shapes. Geologists have puzzled how these cliffs formed, as they seem impossible through normal lava flow. The once active volcano, Mount Inos (the namesake of the island) last erupted early in the 2nd Epoch, and has been dormant since. The island has no clear resources, and only hold a strategic advantage due to its location. Several nations have tried to occupy the island over the years, namely the Arbethian Kingdom and the Inniash Khaganate, and have inevitably failed. The local population are unruly and vicious, and the Logicmasters of Meridian have passive-aggressively hinted their displeasure at any nation having a foothold so close to their island.
