First Ranger Olarael Sin'ara
Considered by many to be one of the greatest Elven Rangers in her generation, Olarael Sin'ara gained the title of First Sentinel of Seorsa'Emel at the age of 218; entrusted with leading the defense of the ancient Elven capital.
During The Demon War, in her post as First Sentinel, Olarael was sent to Valliné to help co-ordinate the combined wider defense of the lands from the rampaging demonic cults, and to lend her expertise in the training of the defenders of Valliné. While part of this delegation, her frankness and competance impressed the King, Alric Enarren, who asked her to make sure his son knew how to defend himself in the event of a catastrophic incursion into the city and palace by the cults.
In the king's son, Prince Aegic Enarren, Olarael found a young man whose skill, confidence, and mind were already the equal of some of The Royal Cerulean Guard. Finding herself in the role of mentor to the prince, she did her best to impart on him an awareness of the wider world, while honing his skills with a blade and bow to a level that any would be proud of.
The two became close friends, and Aegic confided in Olarael his plans to take a more active role in ending the war and defending the embattled people of Vallanna. Seeing the unwavering determination in the crown-prince, and rightly deducing that he would not be dissuaded from his chosen course, Olarael was the first to join Aegic's small group of adventurers, The Azure Chain, vowing to lend her peerless skill with a bow to the cause, and in the process, watch over and protect the young prince. During the final confrontation with the Arch-Demon Val'Gorath, during The Battle of Auricheim, Olarael Sin'ara was killied; sacrificing herself so that King Aegic Enarren could strike a final blow to the Demon, and put an end to the conflict that had destroyed so many lives.
